As a UX Designer on PayPal’s Merchant Service team, I helped research, conceptualize, design, and prototype several online tools to help businesses manage their payment systems. Some of the products/services I designed were: PayPal Manager (merchant dashboard), PayPal Virtual Terminal (digital replacement for credit card machines), and merchant account sign up / onboarding. In addition, I worked onsite for several months with many large customers to help them design and build custom integrations. This included PayPal sending and receiving money functionality within third-party UIs, advanced spoof and phishing protection, and other features designed with the merchant’s specific use cases in mind. Some of these large customers included eBay, Skype, and several Yahoo properties (Mail, Messenger, Groups, Shopping, and Flickr).
